Project Description

The Automatic Laptop Stand is an intelligent and ergonomic device that automatically adjusts a laptop's position based on facial recognition. A camera continuously determines face position and sends this via Wi-Fi to the controller that drives motors for height and tilt adjustment.

The system contains a combination of sensors (light, gestures) and a small display for user interaction. The hardware is constructed from CNC-milled wooden parts and 3D-printed components. The software is developed in C++ and runs on an ESP-based embedded platform.

This smart device is an example of combining computer vision, embedded motion control and human-machine interaction. Ideal for ergonomics, accessibility and innovative workplace solutions.
