SmartLamp PCB - RGBW LED driver with ESP32 and Li-Ion battery charging SmartLamp PCB - Detail of ESP32 header and RGBW LED connector SmartLamp PCB - Schematic of RGBW LED driver circuit with boost converter

Project Description

The SmartLamp PCB is a versatile circuit board that can control an RGBW LED strip via an ESP32 microcontroller. The board supports both 12V and 5V LED strips via a switch and provides manual control via potentiometers as backup for ESP signals.

The design includes an integrated Li-Ion battery (3.7V) that can be charged via USB-C, with a maximum charging power of 1A. The boost converter provides a stable output voltage of 5V or 12V, depending on the LED strip configuration. With a maximum LED power of 12W, the board is suitable for both small accent lighting and larger lighting projects.

The circuit board is shape-optimized for housing and includes all necessary protections such as PTC resettable fuse, thermal protection and automatic restart on overtemperature. This makes it a robust solution for smart lighting, IoT projects and embedded systems.
