The Letter Clock is a modern timepiece that displays time in full sentences, such as "it is five to half past eight". A matrix of precision-cut letters is backlit by high-power LEDs that are selectively controlled by a custom embedded microcontroller.
The housing is a premium blend of CNC-milled acrylic at the front and a natural wooden back panel. An integrated RTC (Real Time Clock) module ensures accurate time registration, while a light sensor automatically regulates display brightness for comfortable night viewing. The firmware manages complex display logic and ensures ultra-smooth animations during word transitions.
