Letter Clock
A functional and aesthetic clock that displays time in words, with embedded logic and light sensor-controlled dimming function.

Project Description
The Letter Clock is a modern clock that displays time in full sentences, such as "it is five to half past eight". A matrix of laser-cut letters is backlit by LEDs that are selectively controlled by an embedded microcontroller.
The housing consists of CNC-milled acrylic at the front and a wooden back panel. An RTC module handles time registration, while a light sensor automatically regulates brightness. The firmware manages display logic and smooth animations for word transitions.
This clock is a perfect example of combining embedded electronics, parametric design and functional art. Both decorative and technically convincing.
