Control Systems Sensor Fusion PCB Design PID Control

The Magnetic Levitation Planter suspends a geometric plant container in mid-air through active electromagnetic control. High-sensitivity Hall effect sensors measure the vertical position of the permanent magnets, while a high-speed closed-loop PID controller drives the electromagnet coils to maintain perfectly stable levitation.

This project features a custom-designed PCB optimized for rapid power switching and sensor noise rejection. The software is written in C++ for real-time responsiveness. The mechanical structure, designed in SolidWorks, focuses on a minimalist "floating" aesthetic that contrasts high-tech internals with clean external lines.

Technically impressive and visually striking, this project demonstrates a mastery of mechatronics, power electronics, and advanced control theory.
