CAD Modeling Production Drawings SolidWorks Mechanical Design
In collaboration with ESTEDE Scientific

The Plant Juice Press 3D Production Drawings project involved the comprehensive mechanical engineering and detailing of a scientific extraction tool. Developed in SolidWorks, the final deliverable was a full production package containing every necessary technical detail for immediate manufacturing by turning and milling specialists.

Each component was modeled with extreme precision, incorporating complex assemblies, fit tolerances, and material specifications. The drawing set includes clear balloon labeling, bills of materials (BOM), surface finish requirements, and assembly instructions, ensuring that the transition from digital model to physical product is seamless and error-free.

In addition to the technical data, I produced high-fidelity renders to visualize the final assembly's ergonomics and aesthetics. This project demonstrates IMeTech's ability to deliver manufacturing-ready documentation that meets the rigorous standards of scientific and industrial engineering.

Who is this for?

This project is a good fit for companies and research institutions that want a technical idea or prototype developed into something that can actually go into production, as happened here in collaboration with ESTEDE Scientific for scientific equipment. It's also a useful example for anyone who wants to understand what's involved in turning a 3D model into a physical, manufacturable part, from precise dimensioning to workshop instructions. And it shows how detailed this kind of documentation can be, which is valuable for anyone working with external manufacturing partners.

What makes it special?

What makes this project special is its completeness: rather than just a 3D model, it delivered a full package that turning and milling specialists could work from directly, right down to bills of materials and assembly instructions. At the same time, the thinking wasn't purely technical: alongside the production documentation, high-fidelity renders were also produced to show what the final part looks and feels like. That combination of technical precision and visual presentation means both the workshop and the client know exactly what's being built.
