Which CAD software do you use for mechanical design?
I work with SolidWorks (CSWP certified) for 3D modelling, assemblies and production drawings. This is the standard in many manufacturing industries, making files easy to share with suppliers and production partners.
Do you deliver production drawings for manufacturing?
Yes. I create detailed 2D production drawings with dimensions, tolerances, material specifications and GD&T where needed. Exports in STEP, DXF and PDF are standard, so your supplier can get started immediately.
Can you design and 3D print functional prototypes?
Yes. I design and print functional prototypes in-house for rapid validation of fit, ergonomics and mechanical function. This lets you test a concept before investing in expensive production tooling.
Do you apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM)?
Absolutely. With every design I consider production method, material choice and ease of assembly. This prevents surprises with CNC milling, injection moulding or sheet metal and keeps unit costs manageable.
Do you work remotely on CAD projects?
Yes, CAD work and design reviews run excellently remotely via shared models and video calls. Based in Aalten in the Achterhoek, I work with clients across the Netherlands; on-site measurements are possible by appointment.
